HYPNOSIS - A Positive Transformation

Let Us Help you Help Yourself!

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a highly relaxed state characterized by focused attention, increased suggestibility and vivid visualization. It is an increased concentration of mind with restrictive yet focused attentiveness. Under hypnosis the mind and body are both totally relaxed giving the hypnotist access to tap into the client’s subconscious without the interference of the conscious mind and put in reinforcing affirmations to help the client achieve their goal.

Many of us know that we want to change, and in many cases know exactly what it is that we need to change but we are not able to make those changes. This is because 90% of the time our behaviors are the result of programs that run from our unconscious minds.

This can be best described using the analogy of an iceberg. The conscious mind is the top of the iceberg that you can see. This is just the 10% part of our mind in our conscious awareness, to which we have access to.  Whereas, the unconscious mind lies beneath the surface which is the rest of the 90% of our mind. This is where the majority of our programming and limiting behaviors stem from. Most of the time these behaviors are being carried out without us being aware of it, which is why they are difficult to change on our own. But with Hypnosis we can have access to it and help change those limiting beliefs. Under Hypnosis, we work directly with the unconscious mind which allows us to modify or eliminate existing limiting behaviors and create or strengthen new resourceful behaviors and strategies without the interference from the conscious mind.
