Healing energy of Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique developed by Dr. Mikao Usui that works holistically on the whole body, mind and spirit. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. Therefore, Reiki is the universal life energy that flows through all living things. It is believed that to have a person’s mind and body in a positive state of health, their “Ki” or energy should be strong and flowing smoothly. When the energy becomes weak or blocked, it can lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

Reiki Treatment is simply a relaxing treatment where natural healing vibrations are transmitted through the hands of a Reiki practitioner acting as a conduit to the body of the recipient. The purpose of a Reiki treatment is to relieve stress and pain, induce relaxation, release emotional blockages, accelerate natural healing, balance subtle energies and support other medical modalities including traditional therapies.
How does Reiki work and what is it effective for:
Reiki is not only one of the oldest healing systems in use, but it is also one of the most versatile. This Universal Life Energy that circulates throughout the universe and connects all living things has inherent healing powers that know exactly where the body is damaged. When this balance is achieved, overall physical health is improved. Wounds heal faster, bleeding stops more quickly and pain and illness can be reduced. When done regularly, it can also serve as a preventative measure, maintaining a state of optimum health.

Reiki treats both physical symptoms and the mental and emotional stress that accompany a traumatic situation. The body releases adrenalin during times of stress, which helps the body and mind to respond more quickly. However, too much adrenalin can cause tension, affecting the functioning of other not so vital organs and compounding an already stressful situation. Reiki's calming effect can encourage relaxation, better enabling the body's own healing powers to take action.
Stress is a major culprit that compromises our immune system and makes us vulnerable to diseases and illnesses. Reiki treatments help to bring about balance and harmony within the body, fortifying the immune system and strengthening the body's defenses to protect against illness and infection.

A Regular Reiki Session is usually for 60 minutes. A Short Reiki Session is for 30 minutes and a Comprehensive Session which includes healing attunement, aura cleansing and cord removal is for 90 minutes. Book a session to experience the benefits of Reiki.

Reiki Bronze Session: This is a 30 minute short session where you get to experience the wonderful effects of Reiki. Thsi is more for someone who is just wanting to know how a Reiki session feels and is not quite ready to commit to a full session.

Reiki Silver Session: This is a full Reiki Session for 60 to 70 minutes. Here you get full benefits of a Reiki session with Chakra Balancing as well.

Reiki Gold Session: This is a 90 minute session which includes all that is in Silver Session plus a healing attunement as well as aura cleansing and cord removal.

Distant Reiki Sessions
All above Reiki Sessions are available as Distant Reiki as well. Through distant Reiki you get the same benefit as you would in an in-person session. We will just need to book a specific time when you would be in a relaxed position and not doing any work or driving etc. I would typically message when I am starting and message again when I am done after which we schedule time to talk about the session. Holistic Life Solutions holds Reiki Share evenings for Reiki students and practitioners of all levels of Reiki to give and receive Reiki from each other. Participation fee is $20 and an email or phone call registration is required.
